- Abstract
We examine several classes of finite cyclotomic mappings and derive necessary and sufficient conditions for polynomials of these classes to have a cycle length dividing a given integer $k$. In particular, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for any cyclotomic mapping of index $4$ or fewer to have cycle of length dividing $k$ in terms of the values of the function $f(x^s)$.
