- Abstract
This thesis is about developing and evaluation a protection coating for circulation coins that has anti-corrosion and anti-bacterial functions. Five candidate materials are selected, and only advanced liquid glass and polyurethane are ideal for both quarters and loonies. Among the two, only advanced liquid glass has anti-bacterial function. In this case, it is the most ideal material to protect the coins.
