Abstract
  • The present need for an inexpensive electronic counter has prompted an effort by the semiconductor manufacturers to develop such a circuit using Large Scale Integration (LSI) techniques. Their efforts to incorporate all the necessary circuitry on a single LSI device have only met with partial success as approximately half of the required circuitry has been omitted. This thesis presents a circuit design which contains all of the circuitry necessary to produce such an electronic counter and is compatible with available digital LSI processes. A working model of the proposed circuit has been constructed and successfully tested.
