- Abstract
The site chosen for the thesis is the Prince of Wales Bridge in Ottawa, built in 1881. The bridge has been disused for a couple of years now even though it serves such an important connection between Ottawa and Gatineau. The aim would be to look for ways to bring life to the bridge while at the same time preserving its significance and character, providing a minimal approach intervention that is adaptable and removable, creating interest in the structure which will ultimately help towards its preservation and its rehabilitation.
